This project is an exploration of form and medium, a depiction of sculpting in plaster while also exploring the different forms an object can take in the imaginary realm. This was my first set of pieces of sculpted plaster, showing the possibilities of form, as well as expanding my skillset in wrangling this particular medium. This too, as many future projects of mine, reveals in a way how the final product was constructed and puts a spotlight on it. This revealing of the mystery of art is incredibly freeing for both viewer and artist, bringing the two closer together.
